JENNIE STREET Managing Director

Jennie had 30 years development experience in Sheffield, Derbyshire and internationally. She ran a community allotments project involving residents of a deprived community, and managed a therapeutic horticulture project providing a supportive environment for people with disabilities

Jennie's experience includes management, audit, evaluation and project management.

She opens her own fully organic garden to the public annually www.jenniestreetgarden.co.uk, from 2010 as part of the National Garden Scheme Yellow Book


JOHN BEAZER (Non-Executive Director)

John was formerly CEO of Yes2Work Ltd, a small social firm helping disabled jobseekers back into work. Yes2Work itself employed disabled people. John has been actively involved in Rhubarb Farm since its inception, and his 30 years experience in the public service has been a great help in drafting bids for grant funding.

KATH SHARPE (Non-Executive Director)

Kath lives in Langwith, is secretary of the Langwith Society, and a long time community activist. Kath has been an energetic supporter of Rhubarb Farm, and we are delighted to have her on the Board.

SIMON TAYLOR (Non-Executive Director)

Simon has been a member of the Rhubarb Farm's Advisory Group from its beginning in his capacity as Nottinghamshire County Council's Social Enterprise Officer.  His experience is rich and varied. He worked in care management at a residential school for students with language disorders and autism. He then spent twelve years working in local authority economic development, managing European funding streams and developing business support schemes for social enterprises. He currently works for Shared Lives Plus, a charity and the UK network of micro and family-based providers of care services, meeting the care needs of people in their local community.
