APPLYING FOR A PLACEMENT

The Application Process

This page explains the placement application process and provides access to the Placement Application Form, which you can download and complete when you are ready.

Eligibility

Rhubarb Farm placements are for adults aged 18 and over who need support with confidence, wellbeing, daily structure, social connection, or recovery. We are an inclusive service and consider applications from people with a wide range of needs, as long as we can safely and appropriately meet those needs within our working environment.

2. We review your application

Our team will read through your form to learn more about you. We use this information to identify the programme that best fits your support needs and goals.

3. The relevant Programme Lead will contact you

A Programme Lead will be in touch to talk through your application, answer any questions, and arrange your first visit to the Farm.

4. Attend an initial visit

You will be invited to the Farm for an informal visit. This gives you a chance to see what we do, meet staff and Team Members, and get a feel for whether we are the right place for you.

5. Try a taster day

If you are still interested after your visit, we will arrange a taster day. This is a hands-on experience where you can join in activities and learn more about how we work.

6. Support level and fees (if applicable)

After the taster day, we will work with you to assess the level of support you may need. If fees apply, we will explain them clearly at this stage. Support can be funded through personal budgets, direct payments, or privately.

7. Agree attendance days and start your placement

Once everything is in place, we will confirm your attendance days and offer you a full placement. Our team will support you as you settle in and become part of the Farm community.
